Popol Vuh

One of the most important surviving sacred books of the Quiche Maya is called the Popol Vuh or “council book.” It is set up in three parts; first it describes the creation of earth and its inhabitants, second it describes the lives and stories of the Hero Twins (Xbalanque and Hunahpu), and third it describes the Mayan dynasties. This book is the Mayan equivalent of the Judeo-Christian Genesis and is written Kabbalistically. See: Xbalanque
